If you like to have a drink occasionally, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your pocketbook, your money belt, and keep all cash, credit cards and chequebooks at home. Pack only the money you intend to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well have a win following a drunken night out with your acquaintances and be lucky sufficiently to hit a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Hang on to that story seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel is a tiny bit drastic, but precautionary actions for dramatic behavior is a requirement. If you play to win, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your cash nary a worry, then drink all the complimentary beer you are able to handle, but do not carry charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your befuddled head throws away all the cash!
Permit me to carry this 1 step more. do not drink and then jump on the internet to wager in your preferred casino either. I love to beer from the coziness of my apartment, but considering that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
Why? Even though I don’t drink to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is certainly sufficient to befuddle my judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both make for an awful, and costly, cocktail.
